Structured Data Consistency

Why visible product details and machine-readable product data need to match.

What this is

Structured data consistency means the product details visible to shoppers match the product details embedded for machines. Price, availability, name, brand, and URL should agree across the page, schema, and feeds.

Why it matters

If a page says one price and structured data says another, AI shopping systems may distrust the product. They may skip the item instead of risking a bad recommendation.

Can you fix it yourself?

Sometimes. You can fix stale product data in the store admin. If duplicate schema is coming from a theme, SEO app, reviews app, or feed integration, you may need platform or developer help.

Message to send

Please compare the visible product page with the page's structured data and product feed.

Price, availability, name, image, brand, and URL should match. If duplicate schema from an SEO, reviews, or theme app is stale or conflicting, please remove or repair the duplicate source.

How to verify

Test the product URL with a structured data validator and compare the detected fields against the visible page.
